The meeting was called to order by Pat Beiermann, President.
Present: P. Beiermann, C. McMillen, M. Brown, N. Lawrence, L. Gunderson
Absent: E. Hauser, P. Stemmley
Also present: Mary Brewster, Library Director
* Moment of Silence for Dave Walkington, our Accountant who recently passed away.
The minutes of the Board meeting of January 18, 2007, were approved as presented.
Motion 1: It was moved by L. Gunderson and seconded by C. McMillen that bills in the amount of $36,990.13 be paid.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
COMMUNICATIONS
Lewis & Clark Library System – requesting public library representative to serve a term of 3 years starting July 1st on the board.

Plant will be sent to Ann Walkington in memory of Dave, our Accountant.
Discussion of signatures on checks.
Discussion of situation with Accountant services – procedures, concerns, post job?
Discussion – possibly item of furniture labeled as a tribute to Dave Walkington. Tabled discussion until March.
Motion 2: It was moved by M. Brown and seconded by L. Gunderson that two signatures be required on all checks. Included on bank account: President, Treasurer, and Library Director.

Motion 3: It was moved by L. Gunderson and seconded by N. Lawrence that Mary Brewster’s name be listed on both bank accounts for the Library.
