Drop by the Little House for a "G" or "PG" rated movie and make a craft pertaining to that theme.  Even though this is geared more for school age children, everyone is welcome.

 

March 2010                    Darby O'Gill and the Little People

Based on the children’s book, this animated adventure follows a scientist who tries to solve world hunger only to see things go awry as food falls from the sky in abundance. This is the most delicious event since macaroni met cheese.

Three teens discover that their neighbor's house is really a living, breathing, scary monster but no adults will believe them. When they disturb the house creepy events start to take place and they must save the neighborhood in this animated adventure.

 

June 2010                           The Haunted Mansion

Rated PG; 99 minutes

Inspired by the Disneyland attraction, Disney brings you another great family film based on the popular ride Haunted Mansion. In this live action film, the long-time comedian Eddie Murphy is a workaholic real estate agent who finds that his latest property listing is a haunted house! His encounter with the ghosts teaches him about the importance of the family he has long neglected. Enjoy fun special effects and non-stop laughs in this family adventure

 

July 2010                                         Coraline

Coraline is a curious young girl who unlocks a mysterious door in her family's new home and enters into an adventure in a parallel reality. On the surface, this "Other World" eerily mimics her own life - though it is much more fantastical. While encountering different versions of her own life ultimately, Coraline must rely on her resourcefulness, determination and bravery to get back home.

 

August 2010                                Shark Tale

Rated PG; 100 minutes

In this whale of a tale fast-talking Oscar is a little fish who ends up at the scene of the crime when the son of a shark mob boss is killed.  Claiming to be a “shark slayer” Oscar takes on all the trappings of fame but when his title is challenged he finds that his little white lie has landed him in hot water.  He enlists the help of the shark boss’s son Lenny who happens to secretly be a vegetarian and together they try to make sure that both of their futures aren’t all washed up.
