The meeting was called to order by Pat Beiermann, President.

Also present: Mary Brewster, Library Director; Kevin McRae, Accountant; Joe Schoppet, Auditor.

The minutes of the Board meeting of December 17, 2009 were approved as written.

Motion 1: It was moved by L. Gunderson and seconded by R. Hellemeyer that bills in the amount of $40,312.11 be paid.

Report on Directors remaining vacation and sick leave hours.

NEW BUSINESS

Fire Safety installed two fire extinguishers at the Little House.

Discussion of Jody Scott’s resignation and possibility of hiring 2 clerks to replace her. Discussion of moving other employees in hours and jobs.

Safety Deposit Box at Bank of Edwardsville. Mary, Pat, and Loren will be named for access.

Furnace will be replaced by Gene’s Appliance Heating and Cooling.

Brad the Computer Guy installed the AT&T equipment on our fax line to access DSL service.
