Board of Trustees Meeting

July 15, 2010

The meeting was called to order by Pat Beiermann, President.

Present:                  P. Beiermann, C. McMillen , P. Stemmley, L. Gunderson, R. Hellemeyer

Absent:                  M. Brown, E. Hauser

Also present:        Kevin and Stacy McRae, Accountants; Mary Brewster, Library Director.

The minutes of the Board meeting of June 17, 2010 were approved as written.

Motion 1:  It was moved by L. Gunderson and seconded by R. Hellemeyer that bills in the amount of $50,226.76 be paid.

        IMRF 2009 report.

COMMITTEES

UNFINISHED BUSINESS    

        Discussion of E-Pay.

        Discussion of downloadable books and audiobooks.

        The tentative budget ordinances will be made available for public viewing in the Library.

NEW BUSINESS

        Next month’s board of trustees meeting will begin a half hour early for the budget hearing.

Motion 2:  It was moved by L. Gunderson and seconded by R. Hellemeyer that Library Director Mary Brewster’s increase in salary be retroactive to July 1, 2010.

Motion 3:  It was moved by P. Beiermann and seconded by P. Stemmley to adopt Ordinance 2010-2, a resolution of determination of prevailing wage rates.
