2025 Summer Reading Challenge

The Summer Reading Challenge will run from May 28th – July 28th, 2025.

How the Challenge Works

The Challenge is to record the days on which you read. You can set your own reading goal for the summer: 10 minutes per day, 100 pages per week, 1 book every two weeks… it’s up to you. We just hope you’ll get a reading streak going all summer long!

Simply check off each day you read on the weekly calendar logs. Each day you read equals one ticket for the final prize drawings. Mark a number in front of the final prizes to indicate where your tickets should be entered. Then add your name to the reading log and turn it in at the Library throughout the summer.

Reading also earns you prizes from our Bookcart of Lil’ Goodies. After your 4th, 18th, 36th and 50th days of reading you get to pick one item from the goodies.

*New this year – Each event you attend earns you “carnival tickets” to use at the Finale Party on August 2nd. Save them up all summer long and trade them in for small prizes at the Finale Party!

The details:

• All logs must be turned in by July 29th.
• The Bookcart of Lil’ Goodies will be available through August 10th.
• With 31 days of reading, you become eligible for the final prize drawings.
• Each reader may only win one final prize.

Final Prize Drawings will be held by August 1, 2025. Winners will be contacted.

Getting Started

        Beanstack Account

• Use the Beanstack App on your phone or other mobile device to create, sign in, and manage your account. (apple | android)
• Alternatively, visit our Beanstack website. Click the “register” button if you need to create an account, or click the “sign in” button to access your existing account.
• Within one account, you can set up, manage reader profiles, and log reading for all of your family members!
• We are also excited to hear about your progress in the challenge. Tag us on Facebook or Instagram with #bethaltoreads2024.

        Getting a Paper Reading Log

• If you prefer to participate with paper reading logs, you can ask for them at the Library, or you can print them from the buttons below.
