2025 Library Crawl

October 1 - October 31, 2025

Ever been to a pub-crawl? A yarn-crawl? Well, welcome to the area’s 7th Annual Library Crawl!

Join in and visit area libraries to find out what they have to offer.

• Pick up your passport from the Library or print it out from our website. You can also view the passport below.
• Click here to print the PASSPORT. - For the booklet to print properly, you will need to choose double-sided, flip on short edge.
• Visit at least five libraries beyond your home library from October 1st - October 31st. Check in at each library’s circulation desk to get your passport stamped.
• Library Crawl Online Guidebook - Plan your Crawl and check out a few local eateries and attractions along the way. You can also view the Guidebook below.
• Library Crawl Alphabetical City/Town Guide - A quick reference to all the city/towns participating to make planning your trip easier. You can also view the City/Town Guide below.
• Share your Library Crawl adventure by taking pictures or videos and posting them on social media with the hashtag #IHLSLibraryCrawl2025. This way fellow Library Crawlers can follow your adventure. 
• Turn in your stamped passport to your home library.
  • For Bethalto Public Library cardholders, turn in your passport by November 10th and you will be entered into a prize drawing for a tote bag full of goodies! We will be drawing three winners. One prize goes to the patron who visits the most libraries (drawing held if there is a tie). Two more winners are drawn from all passports turned in.

• Please Note: If you are not a Bethalto Public Library patron, check with your HOME library to see if they are participating in the Library Crawl and verify any deadlines they may have.
